The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Croftend Glamping - Birdsong

Welcome to our wee pod, Birdsong. Built by local tradesman, John Angus Murdoch, our pod is spacious, well presented and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Situated in the quiet village of Lochboisdale, just a stones throw from the ferry terminal. Birdsong is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking and wake up to the sound of beautiful birdsong. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Secluded cabin, North West Skye - Bolvean Beag

Scottish Short Term Lets Licence No; HI-30071-F Bolvean Beag is a unique self catering wooden cabin. The cabin has a light and airy feel: there is a large window with a pastoral view, the other 3 windows in cabin have midge screens when you need them. There is spacious secluded decking surrounded by wild woodland flowers and trees. There is 1 super king bed downstairs which takes up the whole of the bedroom space. Storage space in small loft if required, accessed via ladder.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Locheynort Creag Mhòr

Brand new for 2020, this chalet is a luxury hideaway in the heart of South Uist. The chalet is set in a stunning location, nestled snugly amongst the hills of Locheynort on the shoreline of a breath-takingly beautiful bay. The chalet is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and is also an excellent spot from which to explore the neighbouring islands, either by car across causeways or by taking ferry journeys to Barra in the south or Harris/Lewis in the north.

Starsach view

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Norrag Bheag

Norrag Bheag is a garden cabin perfectly located in Castlebay, right next to the marina. It enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views of Castlebay and Vatersay. It is walking distance to all amenities - local shops, pubs, hotels, places to eat, kayaking, bike hire etc. You wont forget your stay at this romantic, memorable place.

The Annexe, Isle of Barra

The Annexe is ideally located in the middle of Castlebay, with beautiful views overlooking the Castle. It is walking distance to all amenities - local shops, pubs, hotels, places to eat, kayaking, bike hire etc. It is a peaceful, simple space where you can sit and enjoy the view. Sunamul, Northbay, Isle of Barra

Sunamul is a perfect location to escape to and enjoy the beautiful island of Barra. A modern one bedroom cottage with open plan kitchen, dining, lounge provides a very comfortable base to explore our beautiful island beaches and walks. The Cottage in the small village of Northbay, at the North of the island.

Loch View Cottage

Peacefully located above a single-track road, Loch View is a cosy, modern, 2-bedroom bungalow with an open-plan living space providing spacious kitchen/dining room with an archway into a comfortably furnished living room. The front windows have a spectacular open view over Loch Harport to the hills beyond.

Sealladh An Iar, translated “View of the west” is located in the Village of Borve. Our pod is situated in front of our home with your own private area, facing the Atlantic Ocean. The Pod is suitable for two adults and a Child.
