Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Situated on the North Wales coast, at the foot of the Carneddau Mountains and with views across to the Isle of Anglesey, this beautifully renovated former Smithy, just off the A55, is the perfect location for exploring the treasures of North Wales. Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Our family cottage is full of character and charm and has been in the family for over 90 years. Built in the 1820s, it has lots of original features; open fireplace, yet has the comforts of modern living ; wifi, central heating. Versatile and very comfortable trundle beds, which convert to either a single, twin or king size in bedrooms- sleeps 4. A peaceful, rural location with stunning sea view over the bay, a dog friendly pub 8 mins walk away and 30 mins walk down the hill to the beach.

Tyn Y Ffridd cottage is situated in the heart of Abergwyngregyn, home to the stunning Aber Falls waterfall which is in walking distance. The cottage is grade II listed and has been completely renovated. Inside consists of one double bedroom which sleeps 2, a cosy living/dining room, 1 bathroom with shower, W/C and sink, and a kitchen. Outside has private off-road parking and a raised patio from which you are able to take in the surrounding greenery, as well as the stunning views of Anglesey.

Bay Tree Cottage- Menai Bridge, Anglesey

This 19th century cottage sits on the side of a hill, with breathtaking views over the Menai Strait. The cottage itself was lovingly renovated five years ago. It’s multi-level garden is the perfect vantage point for looking out to sea, the top level decking makes a great place for a glass of wine in the sunshine. Conveniently situated on the main road which leads to nearby Menai Bridge which is just five minutes by car along the coast. Beaumaris is the same in the opposite direction.

Relax after a day in the mountains in this, cosy, dog friendly cottage on the edge of the village of Rachub. A five min walk from the door to the mountains. The cottage has lovely original features, such as the charming staircase, exposed stone inglenook fireplace with log burning stove (logs not provided) & wooden floorboards. Quality cooker, fridge and kitchen items. Sleeping 2 in a super king Feather & Black bed with Emma mattress, a z-bed is available if requested for a young child.

Ty Nain Bangor (walk to uni; drive to mountains)

Ty Nain is a bright holiday home close to the University, shops and restaurants in Bangor. The house boasts a sea view over Hirael Bay and the Pier is a short stroll away. There is a bus stop near the property and the railway station is a 15 minute walk, so a car is not essential. Local attractions include Zip World, Snowdonia, Anglesey beaches and coastal paths, local castles (Caernarfon/Penrhyn), Greenwood Forest Park, Welsh Mountain Zoo, and Pili Palas for family fun.

My place is within easy access of Snowdon, Zip world, A55, Anglesey. You’ll love my place because its a traditional grade 2 listed welsh cottage fully refurbished and set in a small hamlet within the countryside. My place is good for couples, walkers, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. PLEASE NOTE: This is a small village located a couple of miles from the main A55 road there are no shops in the village itself. Tesco is a 5 min drive away
