Mingara Park cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a snug & cosy getaway. Sit and enjoy the beautiful countryside & sunsets, curl up and read by the fire place, stroll through the farm and meet our friendly goats and miniature cattle. The cottage is ideal for a week working from your country office, a weekend away for two or to share with family and friends. The kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm but if you prefer the outdoors, light the fire pit and sit out under the stars.

Maggie May is the cutest little 1850's miners cottage located in a quiet Street and is close to Ballarat CBD, Sovereign hill and the Ballarat Wildlife Park. She is newly renovated, whilst retaining her traditional and charming authentic self she has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. By day enjoy in friends, couples or family fun time in a game of backyard finska, by night chats and giggles by the fire pit or watch your favourite Netflix series and then cozy up in a comfortable bed.

Harvest Cottage

Harvest Cottage is a peaceful, stylish one bedroom weatherboard cottage set amongst beautiful garden, rolling hills, pasture and native bushland of Central Victoria. It's filled with the exquisite botanical and landscape artworks of Catherine Freemantle, a wood fire and bespoke furnishings to make your stay unforgettable. We also offer a number of floral and art workshops on request. We are a stones throw from Djuwangbaring trail network. Cosgrave section of the trail is a 2 min ride away.

Set in an idyllic bush setting there are also opportunities to enjoy leisurely bush walks, a bike ride or a stroll to the local coffee shops. Only a 5 minute drive to Buninyong or a 15 minute drive to Ballarat, events and attractions can be easily accessed. Both bedrooms have super comfortable Queen beds with 5 star cloud like bedding for the cosiest sleep. Two split systems make your stay comfortable no matter the weather. The kitchen has been fitted out to perfection and is fully equipped for your every need. The newly renovated bathroom has a separate lush shower and bath.

Miners Cottage in historical Ballarat

Built in the late 1800s to early 1900s, this fully renovated Miner’s Cottage will truly give you a feel of Ballarat’s rich, historic heritage. This home offers a great location, situated just a moments walk to Ballarat CBD, shops, local cafes, restaurants and bars. In addition, the house is only minutes away from the train station and local sporting grounds and a small drive to Sovereign Hill, the Ballarat Wildlife Park and Ballarat Mini Golf.

Our mud brick home, is surrounded by eucalyptus trees and is bordering on the Enfield State Forest. The 3 bedroom home is an ideal quiet and peaceful escape from urban life, featuring a wood heater, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry with a washing machine. Kangaroos often visit our backyard to feed on the grass. Lots of native birds can be spotted. We had a Tawny Frogmouth nest near the house and even a koala visit, recently.
