About this space Enjoy this bright, spacious, and modern suite with panoramic views of mountains, including Kokanee glacier. Large windows that open to allow fresh mountain air in. The suite is furnished with a mid-century modern flare. Two bedrooms; one queen size bed and the other a double. Kitchen is fully stocked to accommodate all meals. We roast our own coffee beans with a micro roaster so guests will have the freshest coffee available. A medium or dark roast is available upon request

The Acorn Guest House

The Acorn Guest House is a two-level, self-contained accommodation located 2 minutes from the ferry landing in Balfour, BC and only 30 minutes from Nelson. Features include a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, patio and balcony, fire pit, and plenty of free parking with room for RV's or Trailers. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.
