This is a cozy, Yukon-style retreat — perfect for couples, small families, or friends who want to slow down, reconnect, and experience the best of Carcross and the surrounding wilderness. Two queen beds, one located in a bedroom off the living room and one in the loft.

Get away from the crowds and back to basics in this SIMPLE and COZY, OFF-GRID mountain hut–style dry cabin with stunning views. Tucked beside our off-grid home, this is a peaceful nature escape with limited power, no running water, and an outhouse. Heated by wood stove and supplied with seasonal water, it’s best for guests who enjoy simple living and an unplugged experience. The solar system is small and it is not possible to plug in your vehicle. In winter, our steep driveway requires 4x4.

Drinking and cooking water is supplied using Blue Jug water. Includes a outhouse. 5-minute walk to Caribou Crossing, 5 minutes to the Carcross Commons, and a short drive to Emerald Lake. Aurora viewing and wildlife sightings possible.
