Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

The Granary

Situated in the country side, with no one around, the gorgeous Hardwick View Lodge. A lovely intimate space with the sounds of nature all around. You can go on many different walks, to close by places such as Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill. This is a perfect place for walkers or a couple wanting a romantic treat away, with a hot tub to relax in too. Nestled amongst the boulders in 5 acres at the top of Eagle Tor this beautifully hand crafted cabin is the ultimate romantic getaway. Relax and get back to nature in the gorgeous wood fired hot tub set on a boulder looking out across the valley, followed by an outdoor shower nestled amongst the rocks. In the cabin soak up the gorgeous 180 degree views from your cosy bed, not to mention the glass roof for star gazing! A covered outdoor kitchen/eating area and a firepit to toast marshmallows.

It is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. A short drive away from the peak district, it is very private with its own fully fenced, dog friendly garden. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines.

Hazel Lodge luxury log cabin

Hazel Lodge is new to Sam’s Derbyshire cottage. This beautiful lodge is set on a working farm between south wingfield and crich. The lodge has 2 bedrooms 1 double and twin rooms, the bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bath. The open plan living kitchen and dinning area is great for entertaining with a 40” smart tv. The hot tub is very private with looks down the valley great for star gazing! There is a big decking area with table and chairs for long nights sat outside.
