The Shady V Ranch cabin is located 2 miles east of Castell on about 100 acres. Breathe the fresh, clean, crisp air. Now get ready to enjoy some fun time "UNPLUGGED". Cell service is limited and there is NO wifi provided on the property. This ranch has been in my family for over 100 years. My Grandfather (Henry Hasse) first bought the land in the early 1900's. We are excited to be able to share part of the Texas Hill Country and the beautiful Llano River. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. Located on over an acre of barely-tamed land on the gorgeous Llano River, the Rock Stack is a ruggedly luxurious vacation home.  We’re a place for both the fisherman and the boutique shopper, the explorer and the book-worm, the adults-only getaway and the family-friendly vacation. 2025 Flood Update: We are open and the river is GORGEOUS after the flood. Come see for yourself. (We are also out of the flood plane and we’re not affected by the 2025 floods).
