The cottage is a stone building with cedar windows all around ,giving tranquil views to the gardens and birdlife , a beautiful space setup up for 2 people only , with queen size antique style bed . free standing clawfoot bath. 2 toilets ,one is a right royal chain pull from a time gone by. 1 shower 2 wash basins feel the serenity in the Cottage ,with direct access to your own secluded outdoor dining area so why not dine in cooking your meals in the shared kitchen and eat at the giants table.

Clare to Spalding character escape

Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

The house is situated on a working sheep and cropping property and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Upper North. There is ample space to park large vehicles and heavy machinery.

Beautifully restored 1860's Miners cottage with all the modern conveniences whilst enjoying the lovely touches of yesteryear. Lime wash stone walls surround lge rooms with reverse cycle air A.C. wood fire & a gas log heater to keep you warm and cosy. Heated bathroom with with cast iron claw foot bath to soak and relax with a glass a wine. Enjoy the beautiful garden for breakfast, BBQ or read a book in one of the many nooks. Close to town to enjoy the pubs and cafes. Suitable for couples..

Gladstone Country Retreat

Walking distance into Gladstone (1.2km) if you fancy a beverage or need to top up your cheese platter. A great base to kick off your Southern Flinders adventure.

Stallion Box, Bungaree Station, Clare Valley

The Stallion Box is one of several converted accommodation buildings located on Bungaree Station. Once the stallion's stable, this self contained studio cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple with a queen bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast provisions (e.g. eggs, bacon, juice, cereal) are included. Guests can explore the historic station, visit local wineries and other attractions or simply relax in front of the fire. Multiple night stays are discounted by up to 20%.

You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. Alex's house is located in the South Australian town of Laura in the southern Flinders Ranges. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.

Shear Serenity Cottage on Survey Road

Beautiful and quaint, 2 bedroom cottage located 15kms from Melrose along the picturesque Survey Road. 17kms to Wirrabara and 300m from the eastern end of the popular Bridle Track. Situated on a working sheep and cattle farm, near a seasonal creek, private and peaceful with its own secret garden. Come and relax and listen to the birds sing.
