Doukenio-traditional stone house in Chora Amorgos

Doukenio is a traditional stone house that has been renovated in 2016. The building reserves most of its original architectural signs and it has a unique character. In the main building there is a small bedroom with a double bed built next to a stone and the living room with the fully equiped kitchen. Here we have a traditional sofa which can be converted into two single beds with normal mattresses. In the middle of the surrounding yard is situated the shower place (the ruins of an old oven -furnace) with the WC and there is enough space for relaxation outside. The house also has a veranda at the roof (fully equiped for resting) with unique views under the Medieval Castle and the aigian sea further away.

KIRIAKI

Kiriaki house is located in the most quiet part of Langada, surrounded by native plants and dominated by a big Oak-tree. It’s a typical cycladic house, built with local stone and inspired by the layout of an orthodox church. It has an open plan with a double bed, a living area with a double sofa-bed, a fully equipped kitchen with the dining table and a bathroom. The outdoor space comprises a private patio with a stone table, where to Enjoy the amazing Aegean sunset with a stunning view.

Amorgos Dakoronia’s place I

“Dakoronia I” is a (20 sq m) recently renovated stoned place, situated in the settlement of Rachidi, 300m away from the beautiful port of Katapola. Our place combines the traditional Cycladic style with stunning sea and sunset views to the picturesque port. It can accommodate 2 guests, making it the ideal option for couples, travelers or hikers. Our place is only five minutes away from the central port with the options of cafes, restaurants, shops, mini markets and beaches, available.

The area is calm and relaxed, while still within walking distance of the bay and local amenities.

Fishermans Cabin Amorgos

A small private house at the end of the main port of Amorgos island named Katapola. The beach is right in front of the house. As far we can go in time, It was build around 1700s and it was the cabin of my Grand grand grand father who was a fisherman, as was my grand father and my father too. They spend all the time there from April to November and the sea was at the doorstep were they had their boat and their nets. The house was totally renovated at 2012.

Welcome to our seafront view apartment on the beautiful island of Amorgos. The spot is defined by the Cycladic nature with rocky landscapes and the scent of herbs like thyme and lavender in the air. It is very quiet and feels secluded, however a short walk towards the port will unveil the picturesque neighborhood of Xilokeratidi where charming streets are lined with restaurants offering traditional and modern Greek cuisine.

Το σπίτι μας βρίσκεται στην ομορφότερη περιοχή των Καταπόλων, το Ξυλοκερατίδι, έχει νότιο προσανατολισμό και απέχει 30 μέτρα από τη θάλασσα. Παρότι σε κεντρικό σημείο, το χαρακτηρίζει η ησυχία. Είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και διαθέτει δύο άνετους χώρους, υπνοδωμάτιο με διπλό κρεβάτι και κουζίνα-καθιστικό με καναπέ που γίνεται διπλό κρεβάτι. Εξωτερικά υπάρχει μεγάλη βεράντα με υπαίθρια τραπεζαρία, πέργκολα και θέα στη θάλασσα.

Located in the picturesque seaside settlement of Xylokeratidi, our accommodation provides peace, quietness and inspiration alongside with an amazing view of the sea and the port. The house , designed by the Amorgos Architects team, consists of two floors and can accommodate up to six persons. As usual with the team, great care has been taken that all materials and appliances are eco-friendly.
