Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Views to Loughrigg Fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe dominate with the rooftops of Ambleside below. The Coniston Fells are also clearly visible (weather permitting). The apartment faces south west and benefits from afternoon and evening sun. A private balcony is accessed from the kitchen; just the place to sit and relax after a day on the fells , so makes the most of the sunsets.

Situated in the heart of the Lake District this la’al (small) house is one of a kind. It’s quirky and small interior and ladder stairs make it a perfect little base in a quiet area of lovely Ambleside. Ideal for a couple or a 1 person stay. Private parking space. Minimum 3 night stay. Shorter stays will be considered but are down to our discretion if it backs on or before another booking to fill the space. (No Saturday departures) No Fri-Sat bookings so far into the future.
