Quiet place on the edge of town pet friendly

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

Hunters Hideaway

Hunters Hideaway was designed for people who love the cabin feel while still located in town. Located in North Central Kansas- just 1 mile from the Waconda Lake (5 Miles from Glen Elder State Park). You can easily get to it through rain or shine. We do allow pets! We love our hunting dogs and consider them part of the family so it only makes sense to allow our guests to bring theirs! We do have a $15 pet fee and also require a signed waiver to ensure our lodge is well kept for each guest!

The Mahoney House: Your House in Russell

Welcome to your house in Russell. This beautiful home, built in 1919 with original wood floors throughout, is your perfect hometown getaway. Completely renovated in 2017, it now accommodates up to 11 people in 4 bedrooms. On the historic bricks of tree-lined Kansas Street, Mahoney House is close to I-70 and 1 block from Main Street. Our shady, fully fenced back yard is a peaceful & inviting retreat. This is an ideal refuge for individuals, couples, families and groups visiting Russell.

The Sportsman Lodge

The Sportsman Lodge is a great spot to relax after a day in the field or on the water. It’s spacious, dog-friendly, and has a big yard with room for games or just hanging out. You’ll have access to an outbuilding for cleaning game and storing gear for convenience. The cabin is close to public land, and a variety of public land to explore. Whether you're here for a hunt, a fishing trip, or just to stop on your way through and unwind in a quiet spot, this cabin makes a great base camp.

Relax in the spacious living area, complete with a large TV for movie nights. Outside, our covered porch awaits with inviting patio chairs, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or stargazing. Whether it's a serene getaway or an outdoor adventure, our tiny home offers the perfect retreat.

Elm Street Lodge

Elm Street Lodge, located just one block from Main Street, is centrally located and is within walking distance to anything you will need for your stay. It features an open floor plan with beautiful original hardwoods and molding throughout the house. Just 20 minutes from the nearest lake where you will find great fishing as well as waterfowl hunting. North Central KS is also home to some of the best deer, turkey and upland bird hunting you can find.

Garden View Lodge

We do charge per guest. Pets are allowed but we do ask that you tell us ahead of time you are bringing them, they are not left unattended, and you clean up any messes inside and outside.
