Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). Recentemente restaurada oferece um ambiente moderno, acolhedor preservando os traços de outros tempos. Tem um jacuzzi com água que pode ser aquecida na varanda panorâmica.

Casa medieval, de origem judaica (pensa-se que pode ter origem nos judeus sefarditas que foram expulsos de Espanha em 1492 pelos Reis Católicos), inteiramente recuperada conservando por inteiro toda a sua originalidade.
