This home was built in 1924 out of Bes-Stone split block from Besser Manufacturing Company, produced at the world headquarters, located here in Alpena. It is just as beautiful today as it was when it was built 100 years ago. This home has surprisingly large rooms, as well as all the modern comforts, including central air! We have 30 acres to walk on, are close to hiking and biking trails, and Beaver Lake is a 5 minute drive. The cabin is nearby to all the greater Thunder Bay/Alpena area. Explore Northern Michigan year round! Of note: the 3/4 bathroom is connected to the cabin, but accessed from outside the cabin.

My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

No shooting allowed on property except during deer rifling hunting season.

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Lakefront oasis....Beaver Lake is an all sports 665 acre gem, located in northern Michigan. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just relaxing on this 77' deep crystal clear inland lake. Guests are welcome to enjoy the aqua-cycle and kayaks. Life jackets can be found in the bedroom closet.
