You can also walk to the many other shops, cafes and restaurants. In Alnwick is the wonderful Barter Books where you can browse at your leisure and make good use of the cafe on site. The owners live next door in the main part of the house, but you'll rarely see them unless you want to!! Loan End Cabin is also available on Airbnb and it sleeps 2.
