Camp under Blue Ridge Mtn sky river A Frame Cabin

Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

A fun, boho decorated shed with electric - please be aware it’s no Hilton - similar to “glamping.”

Beautiful house on highway 88 that is our home away from home and would love to have you to enjoy it like we do. Very large yard that you can have a bonfire or play outside games. Blue Ridge Parkway 1 1/2 miles away, eateries and Shatley Springs nearby. Jefferson and West Jefferson 15 to 20 minutes away. New River State Park 10 minutes away. Winery minute away. It is at a 3000 ft elevation with vast views of the mountains and valleys. A hiker’s dream location with several hiking trails in the surrounding area. When not hiking you can visit the many vineyards or take a trip to the nearby towns to enjoy local shops, music and dining. This cabin is designed for a couple to get away and get back to nature.
