Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Yellow River Cozy Cabin

Welcome to our charming cabin located near the Yellow River State forest in northeastern Iowa. This cozy retreat is perfect for those looking to relax and spend time in the great outdoors. There is a master suite in basement with a queen size bed and full bathroom. The open concept main floor has a wood burning stove, kitchen area, and another full bathroom with tub. There are two lofted bedrooms on the main floor as well as a screened in porch, fire pit, 4-person hot tub, and bass pond!

The Barn Loft

The Barn Loft, located in NE Iowa, is just a short drive from some of the best trout fishing in this part of the state! It is a full Loft Space (1500 square feet) above this Timber Framed Barn built by Wally and Traci. Here you have access to your own rooms, kitchen, and more.
