Dunray Cottage - Welcome to Havelock North

Enjoy staying at our newly built, beautiful cottage. There is so much to experience in Hawkes Bay and at the end of the day, relax and have a glass of wine on the large deck and enjoy a soak in the spa. We are 3km’s from the heart of Havelock North and in a semi-rural location; on the main arterial road into the village. The cottage is fully self-contained and on separate grounds to our main house, which is on the adjoining property. There is even room for a caravan (with external power point)

It has air conditioning to keep you warm and cool and breakfast is included! Please note that the flat has no TV and it has a kitchenette not a full kitchen. Also the flat is reached by 30 steps down from the street. You are a short 10min walk from the cafes, restaurants & bars that Napier & Ahuriri have in abundance.

Perfect for families or couples who are looking for a comfortable place to stay a short walk to the beach, hot pools, botanical gardens, cafes, restaurants & bars of Ahuriri. Cosy over the winter months with a gas fire heating the whole house requiring just the click of a button & panel heaters in the bedrooms. Fully insulated. All day sunshine and a lovely place to relax in the evening out back on the deck.

Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake to a glorious sunrise. Walk and cycle the safe, seaside paths. You can easily experience much of the area by bike and foot. Our apartment includes a three room guest house made up of a bedroom, bathroom and a living area, with an optional sofa bed. There is a small private courtyard outside the apartment for your use only. Adjacent to the apartment is a private bedroom available to accommodate extra guests or family members.

The Pavilion

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!

Overlooking the bay, estuary and mountain ranges sits our unique mid-century apartment, a stone’s throw from seaside Ahuriri. A warm light-filled space designed and built by Waiapu Cathedral architect, F. Kingwell Malcolm-the King of Concrete. Groovey fittings and furniture in the style of the time and salvaged from Napier's iconic T&G building. Views, location and style make a perfect base for a comfortable stay in the Bay. Contemporary style ground floor apartment in our house consisting of 2 bedrooms (queen bed each) a day room with kitchenette (no stove) and TV (Netflix). Entry through the front door of our house with a door to your accommodation in the entrance hall. Bedrooms with black out curtains. Separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Washing machine and dryer available. Off street parking for 1 car, WIFI, short walk to Ahuriri's little beach, restaurants & cafe's .

Our Little Blue House (42 sqm) on the bottom of the hill by Ahuriri will provide you with a perfect home away from home. Completely renovated inside out with friends and family in mind! We believe the little things make the biggest memories. Inside, we have striven to provide everything you might need for a relaxing getaway. Less than 4 min (350 m) easy walk to the safe little beaches in Ahuriri and only minutes away with the car to Napier centre.
