Welcome to our serene retreat nestled in the charming town of Caerwys, North Wales. This spacious 1 bedroom cottage, plus a sofa bed in the living room provides opportunity for up to 4 people to stay. It's a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. This cottage was transformed from an old farming barn to a modern day cottage and is now the perfect getaway for any couple to escape. The bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable king sized bed to unwind in, and a bathroom with a swoon worthy shower. Enjoy your morning paned (cuppa) either in the open spaced kitchen dining area, or on the private outside patio area with private hot tub.

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

An excellent pub/restaurant, The Dinorben Arms, offers real ales and great food, just a 15 minute walk away. Convenient location for local walks on the hills, along the river or Offas Dyke path. Outdoor pursuits and many other activities are available in the Snowdonia National Park and along the beautiful North Wales Coast.

Located five minutes from A55 and adjacent to Halkyn Mountain, an ideal touring base for exploring our local area and beyond, great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, the beaches and castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia or Chester/Liverpool. It is very small, but fully equipped with modern facilities with character features.

The hut has its own en-suite shower and loo. During spring and summer the beautiful blooms of wildflowers attract lots colourful butterflies and pollinating insects. The hum of the wild life and the gentle trickle of the stream alongside creates a relaxing stay.
