The residence is a Venetian building dating from the time when Crete was under the Venice’s rule from 13th until the middle of 17th century. For that reason, our guests can notice the impact of the Venetians in the architecture of the residence.

Archontiko tis Irinis is a traditional house from the 19th century in the centre of Adele village, in a field full of trees and natural privacy. The antecedent mansion used to be inhabited by the Ottoman Empire and the Venetians and left behind beautiful touches all around property. The house offers an exhibition of bakery, kitchen and gardening tools that have been used in the Cretan traditional life.
