Farm stay at Ewe View, Aberdeenshire

Take it easy at this unique and tastefully decorated getaway on a working farm in Aberdeenshire. Located just 20 minutes drive from Aberdeen International Airport it is a highly accessible countryside location with local amenities and beautiful attractions. Explore the local area and see the seals at Newburgh beach just 2.5 miles away with adjoining golf course. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and arable crops. The grass fields surrounding Ewe View often are home to the cattle and sheep.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Secluded chalet on a quiet family farm

The chalet is a private, secluded and rustic place with plenty parking beside it for other Airbnb guests. For the colder months there is a woodburning stove with free firewood. It is situated half way between Stonehaven (10mins) and Aberdeen (20mins), there are supermarkets nearby & many tourist attractions. Ideal for couples or families with 1 or 2 children, cot available. Dogs accommodated (max 2), £5/night. Spacious library with piano available. Level access. Breakfast NOT provided.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

The Cart Shed - unique open plan living

The Cart Shed, as the name suggests, is a newly converted, old stone steading. Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. Tern Cabin is a lovely wooden building with all amenities required for a short term holiday. Situated in the coastal village on Newburgh, Aberdeenshire only a short walk from the beach which teems with wildlife. People come from far and wide to see the seal colony, there's always something happening including the seasonal visitors from which the cabin is named.
