A truly unique retreat offering high quality accommodation for up to 5 adults. We also have a small fold up bed and a travel cot for little ones. Extra amenities include board games, books, table tennis and a dressing up box. The perfect staycation for families or the perfect tranquil environment for solo travellers of work or pleasure.

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

The Garden Studio in the Heart of Bury St Edmunds

The Studio consists of 2 rooms: Bedroom with double bed on the GROUND FLOOR, with WC/Shower. UPSTAIRS sitting room, TV, sofa. IMPORTANT: THERE is NO KITCHEN only mini fridge and microwave for OCCASIONAL USE. The Studio has private entrance from the GARDEN door on the right of the main house, with a secluded walled courtyard with decking NOTE: 1. there is NO GUARANTEED parking nearby. 2 there are several steep/uneven steps, so it’s NOT suitable if you have mobility limitations.

It comes with free off-road parking which is a great feature. The thriving market town of Bury St Edmunds has plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the popular Wednesday and Saturday market. Ickworth House and Gardens is just a 5 minute drive away.

Set in parkland just opposite Nowton Park, Tawny Lodge is only a five minute drive from the vibrant market town centre of Bury St Edmunds, or a scenic 45 minute walk.

The Coach House is a comfortable detached holiday let close to the historic Abbey ruins and half a mile from the centre of the town. The minimum stay is for three nights.
