The Historic Hotel on Main- The Taylor Suite

Newly renovated! Boutique hotel located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in downtown Comfort. Our 1890 Hotel has been lovingly restored in April 2018. The Taylor Suite is located on the second floor, a quick trip up the exterior staircase. Your private entrance leads to a relaxing living/dining area. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom, and one bath suite. This suite has two, large flat screen TVs with Direct TV. Walking distance to wedding venues, restaurants, shops and wineries.

The Corner Haus

The “Corner House” was built in 1954 by my parents, LeRoy and Colleen Bohnert, who made it their home for 63 years. Their home was filled with love and laughter and was a magnet for the neighborhood kids to play. My parents loved to entertain family and friends. My mother always had homemade cookies for to serve the guests. My husband and I remodeled the house in 2018. The house has two bedrooms, one bath, a screened porch which is perfect for morning coffee or that evening glass of wine.

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. The Riverside Cabin was originally constructed in 1935 as a Hill Country get-away to accommodate hunting, fishing and river activities. It is located on the original route to the Old Spanish Trail on the banks of the Guadalupe River, within 1/2 mile of Comfort's Historic District. Situated on 10 acres, the cabin is a quiet, private retreat and a comfortable central location for exploring the Hill Country.
