The Peanut is a KC favorite for wings, and it's our favorite! Don't make the newbie mistake of ordering a dozen... my husband and I suggest 6. Be prepared, the wings will take about 40 minutes, it's a really popular place. Go hungry, but order some cheese fries to tide you over. You won't regret it!

Our favorite place for BBQ! There are several locations throughout the KC area. On 47th is the original location, in a gas station! Order a Z-Man Sandwich, and split an order of fries with someone. This is a great place for the family, lots of kid friendly options. Be advised, they're closed on Sundays.

Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que
3002 W 47th AveOur favorite place for BBQ! There are several locations throughout the KC area. On 47th is the original location, in a gas station! Order a Z-Man Sandwich, and split an order of fries with someone. This is a great place for the family, lots of kid friendly options. Be advised, they're closed on Sundays.
This is our favorite spot for brunch. My favorite dish there is Crab Cake Benedict. It's AMAZING. On Sundays, they have a brunch buffet that is out of this world. It's located inside of Kansas City's historic Union Station, which is a site to behold in itself! If you love architecture, this is a must see! Its also across the street from the WWI Memorial, which is incredible.
